November 2016 Concerts

What a month it has been. This was by far the most amount of individual concerts I’ve seen in 30 days, not including festival season. And even then, I missed out on a bunch I would have loved to attend.

Between writing and shooting for Confront, Wavo  & my general love for live music, I made it out to 8 shows this month. More reviews, more interviews, more photos, more dancing, more voice loss. I might have severely procrastinated some school work, but I ain’t mad.

November 2016 Concerts

11/6: Rufus Du Sol at Theatre Berri (aka Telus)

11/7: Hein Cooper at Petit Campus

11/14: Porter Robinson & Madeon at Metropolis

11/16: Louis the Child at Theatre Fairmount

11/18: Baauer at Newspeak

11/21: Two Door Cinema Club at Metropolis

11/29: The Head and The Heart at Metropolis

11/30: MO at Corona Theatre at Theatre Corona (Interview up soon!)

Montreal concerts I would have loved to see but, unfortunately, missed: Lemaitre, The Hunna (genuinely still upset about this one; considered skipping out on an hour of my own birthday party to attend), Busty and The Bass (5 times this summer wasn’t enough), Daniel Caesar (who I saw at the Jansport Bonfire Sessions 2016 event), Coleman Hell (because I only caught “2 Heads” at Osheaga 2016), The Jezabels, The Paper Kites, James Vincent McMorrow with Allan Rayman (seriously, check this guy out!), Jai Wolf, Alessia Cara, Simple Plan, Breakbot, Snakehips. Wow, Montreal. So many live shows.

Did you see any cool shows this month? Catch any of the ones I missed? Got any recommendations for me next month in Montreal? Want to check out a show together? Let me know in the comments below!
